pumpkin bars

healthy soft pumpkin bars with chocolate chips and pecan nuts
pumpkins are not just for Halloween they are awesome anytime and can be made into these delicious pumpkin bars, great for this time of year, they could be an awesome snack for bonfire night


recipe,

ingredients:
1 cup white flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
5 tbsp agave 
1 cup pureed pumpkin
3 tbsp milk 
4 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
some chocolate chips for topping
some pecan nuts for topping

preheat the oven to170°C and grease the sides and the bottom of an  8 inch baking tray 
in one bowl mix the dry ingredients not including the chocolate chips and pecan nuts, in another bowl mix the wet ingredients, then add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix together. then put into the baking tray, flatten the top a bit and scatter some chocolate chips and pecans on the top, then place in the middle of the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. leave to cool in baking tray for 10 minutes then enjoy, yay!
I also used some of the pumpkin to make an awesome pasta sauce, yum
