OIW - poppies!!! (OOTD)
hello [and hello from my dog Cory]
OIW [outfit I wore] -
poppy t-shirt dress
dress= Topshop, tights= Primark, jacket= H Holland for Debenhams, converse=Office, watch= Micheal Kors, bracelet= Accessorize
yay a sunny day, though my friend the tights are still on but I think this outfit would also look great with natural tights or dun dun duuunnn bare legs.
I really like this dress, I think the pattern is really pretty but not tooooo girly and it's t-shirt style means it is great for warmer weather and can easily be layered with lots more clothes when it's colder.
it can also be dressed up or down, here I worn it with a denim jacket for a casual outfit and my lovely converse
my lovely dog Cory decided to have one of his lets get in the pictures and run around the garden and go a bit mad days [which is kinda most days]
I also wore this dress with a blazer for a smarter outfit and a pair of heels would smarten it up again

nails with glitter on!!!
hello glittery glittery nails...
umm humm, oh yeah...
I have a bit of a thing for nail varnish, for years I have, I remember loving the ones I had at school, the old school spectacular make I had a baby blue one which is one of the first nail varnishes I remember owning.
so I'm not an expert in painting nails, maybe in painting the finger around the nail but not for a professional manicure look, that along with the varnish chipping often as soon as I apply it kinda put me off painting my nails a lot and when I did it would often be in a pale pink almost no nail varnish colour and glitter so when it chips it looks less noticeable but I love colour [and nail varnishes are a great way to own some lovely pots of colour], so although not getting worn I own quite a lot of colours
then I bought some Seche Vite and yay my freshly painted nails last a lot longer, without chipping, and my nails and ends of my fingers as I'm still a messy nail painter, can be decorated in all sorts of spectacular colours without them chipping straight away.
I painted nails bright pink and orange and glittery using a glittery nail varnish under the Seche Vite top coat

Revlon nail enamel in strawberry cream, Seche Vite dry fast top coat
also I bought this Revlon pastel pinky colour called strawberry cream, which I bought because I like the colour but it is scented too and smells strawberryish
I instagramed a picture of it worn with a bright pink
